MINIMALIST CHRISTMAS TABLE
Because the holidays can be very busy, it is sometimes nice to have a little simplicity at the table.
TABLEWARE
For this table we used Lanelle Abueva stoneware plates, Tramontina Cutlery, vintage crystal glasses and some Rustan’s German crystal wine glasses, white mother of pearl coasters from Cebu, and a monogrammed table napkin which was gifted by a friend. The table cloth is made with canvas from Shell Canvas.
DECORATIVE ELEMENTS
We kept the decor minimal, every year I get a real Douglas Fir tree from S&R and I cut some of it off to place in a pair of small bud vases from Pottery Barn. I then attached red velvet ribbons from Shoppee. Corrugated glass and silver hurricane candle holder from Restoration Furniture, large white pillar candles from Pottery Barn. Notice that in this image the candle has burned halfway through, it has taken two years of regular use during long dinners for the candle to come halfway!
TABLE VIBES
We lit a rather large and surprisingly Christmas smelling Japanese Honeysuckle Aroma Botanicals candle during dinner, across the room. On Spotify, A Spaceman Came Travelling by Chris de Burgh, 2000 Miles by The Pretenders, It’s Beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas by Bing Crosby and Boney M’s Christmas Album.
